Clausthal University of Technology's alumni management would also like to evoke memories. It wants to evoke memories of a wonderful time at university or a successful research stay - for those who have long since left the university or are about to leave TU Clausthal as well-educated graduates.

Alumni Management specifically addresses the needs and concerns of former students and former (academic and non-academic) employees, the alumni of Clausthal University of Technology.
The aim is to strengthen the bond between alumni and their alma mater and to ideally promote communication between the university, students, graduates and alumni.

To achieve this goal, alumni management works closely with the administrative departments, the institutes of the TU and with internal and external partners (for example with the board of the Association of Friends). An attractive program of events, interesting offers and services as well as the maintenance of an exclusive social network in the university's alumni portal are intended to promote exchange with each other and with the TU.
The university's own alumni portal also functions as a kind of "self-maintaining database". Together with the alumni e-mail address, alumni remain accessible to the university and can contact each other directly.

The tasks of alumni management at TU Clausthal include

• Network maintenance and support for alumni and students to promote mutual exchange with each other and with the university
• Public relations work through newsletters, emails and press articles
• Planning and organizing alumni events, lectures and excursions
• Exchange and cooperation with TU Clausthal associations and groups
• Cooperation with internal partners, such as institutes and facilities of the university, or with external partners, such as companies, associations and institutions and the conception and implementation of joint projects
• Development of special offers and services exclusively for alumni of Clausthal University of Technology
